Within the Finance Service Centre a team of Project Managers is established to support our largest Finance (Transformation) initiatives across all of our Finance value streams. In your role as Project Manager you work together with our Finance departments by executing Finance (Transformation) initiatives. Combined with your extensive knowledge as a Chartered Account (RA) you will be a valuable sparring partner for our teams on the cross-section of Accounting and Project management.
This job offers you a salary between €4950 and €7083 (40 hrs week) depending on your knowledge and experience.
Your impact as Project Manager Finance at NN
As Project Manager you execute, or directly support our Program Managers in, multi-disciplinary change initiatives in areas such as Finance Transformations, M&A integrations & divestments, roll-out of new Regulatory (reporting) requirements, and Operational Efficiency. You will be the frontrunner to ensure effective and efficient change execution and will act as the trusted go-to person in terms of accounting expertise, project management and central project oversight.
Your responsibilities
You will take responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of our change initiatives, from initiation (through quick scans/ assessments on core finance processes, and set-up of governance and roadmaps), to project delivery (following Prince II or Agile Scrum methodologies, depending on the project), and embedding the changes in the line organisation.
Other responsibilities include:
- Act as a strategic sparring partner for our FSC value stream leads and (y)our fellow Program & Project managers in the domain of Accounting & Regulatory Reporting
- Act as a source of best practice guidance on project management processes
- Deliver scenario analyses, impact analyses and roadmap that drive the Change agenda of the Finance Service Centre
- Host impactful Steering Committees and drive decision-making throughout the organisation
- Work within a senior stakeholder environment and ensure timely execution and completion of deliverables
Who you are
We are looking for someone with a Chartered Accountant (RA) background, experience with project execution and 5-8 years’ work experience at a Big 4 consulting/audit firm, or in the insurance industry within Finance. You also have a proactive attitude, you are a self-starter and you have analytical and problem solving skills.
Next to the above you also have:
- You demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, are open minded and sensitive to your environment
- You are convincing, a critical thinker and able to flex communication with the audience in mind
- You have a high learning agility, meaning you can easily adapt and absorb new information in a changing environment
- You are a strong communicator, fluent in both Dutch and English
- You have a relevant University Degree; preferably a degree in Accounting & Control, Economics, Business Administration, Business & IT or similar
