We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Internal Auditor with a minimum of 3 years of audit experience and expertise in the insurance industry to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance, identifying risks, and providing valuable insights to improve our company's operations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of financial and operational controls, compliance with policies and regulations, and adherence to industry best practices.
Develop and implement audit plans, including risk assessments, audit objectives, and detailed audit procedures.
Evaluate internal processes and systems to identify potential areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and risk mitigation strategies.
Perform detailed testing of financial transactions, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear findings, recommendations, and action plans to address identified issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to follow up on audit findings, monitor implementation of recommendations, and track progress.
Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements, industry trends, and emerging risks in the insurance sector.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on internal control processes and risk management practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in internal audit, preferably within the insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of insurance products, processes, regulations, and industry standards.
Excellent understanding of risk assessment methodologies, control frameworks, and internal audit practices.
Proficient in using audit software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) will be considered a plus.
Exceptional analytical skills with an attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to senior management.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a dynamic environment.
